It is an ancient alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction.
People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
The benefits of cupping include local pain relief and muscle relaxation. Cupping improves overall health by removing the energy blockages TCM practitioners identify as barriers to the flow of healthy energy or "Qi". For athletes, cupping may help increase blood flow to a particular muscle region or help reduce pain.
What should I be aware of after cupping?

- Avoid showering or swimming for the rest of the day after your treatment.
- Drink plenty of room-temperature or warm water before your session and after. It will help your body flush out what has been drawn up to the surface during cupping.

Who is not suitable for cupping?
- Pregnant women;
- People who bleed easily or have bleeding disorders;
- Feel weak or tired.
